2nd Oct 2018 was celebrated being Gandhi Jayanti through a Cleanliness and Peace Rally in Canossa High School , Andheri. The day started with prayer and blessings and the inauguration by Fr. Innocent Fernandes and Dr. Narayan Iyer CEO of IDFC ( Indian Development Foundation) to commemorate 150 yrs of Gandhiji’s Birthday. After the successful peace march everyone gathered together in the school auditorium for the 2nd part i.e. the different groups performing standard wise to give the message of Cleanliness, honesty, peace and non violence in different ways through dance, skit and song Sr. Bharathi and her women’s group gare usa song in praise of our country. The competition was very tough and each group showcased their talents with both parents and children enthusiastically working hand in hand to do their best. The judges had a hard time judging. Finally the day ended with the National Anthem. Everyone went home tired as the winners proudly displayed their medals.
